I’m new to Clearing Music … Why do I need a Synch License?

If a Sunset Music Publishing song is to be used for a film, television show, home video release, promotion, video games, merchandise, ringtones, playback tunes, in store play, restaurant play, and / or any other type of audio-visual use, a "Synchronization" license must be obtained from the publisher.

How much does a "Synchronization" license cost?

The fees for the license are set online here on this web site (automated system), however, is subject to negotiation and may vary according to the popularity of the composition, the timing of it, and the importance of the composition within the visual production.
